Please, don't assume that your patches are so important that developers
will drop everything to respond to them in short order.  People get
busy, go on travel, etc.

Also never assume that people are subscribed to a specific list.  A few
of us subscribe to almost everything, but we're nutcases.

I happen to know that Rusty is traveling currently, and will be for
some time, so timely responses are unlikely to be forthcoming.
