Finding dead links in Documentation/.../index.html

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

The link checker I mentioned last message gets confused by
Documentation/powerpc and I just sent a patch upstream
(http://lkml.org/lkml/2007/8/9/584) to fix that.

For the rest of it, there are two issues:

  1) Finding links to nonexistent files (404 errors)
  2) Finding files nothing links to (unindexed)

Here's a script that does both things:

  http://kernel.org/doc/make/doclinkcheck.py

I'll probably go back and tweak the previous script to iterate through
Documentation/ itself rather than needing to call find to get an argument
list for it...
