[PATCH 0/0] uses leases for the cached (root) directory

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Steve, All

A new wip patch to use leases to track when the cached root file handle has changed.
When the lease is broken we set up a work item to close the file handle and
uncache the handle.
On next access the handle is reopened and cached again.

As a further step we can use queue_delayed_work in a similar fashion to automatically
uncache the handle after xyz time. That is a small later patch once we have the basics.
