Steve, All, This is not the remainder of the long long compounding series. Please see and review patches 01 and 02. Possibly if they are ok we can consider them for this merge window ? and then we focus over the next weeks to ensure that we have no regressions. Patches 3-6 and 7-10 are logically separate and I think should wait until the next merge window.
