you will not see that. That is hidden inside the controller. You need to read the Core spec for more details. It would take way to long to explain on how BR/EDR and inquiry scan works.

This means that someone (in your case most likely the glasses) actually retrieved the Extended Inquiry Response information. So they know your “fake” display now and what it supports.

I just put in the 0 value. You can fine tune it and read the Inquiry TX Power value and then include that in the data. Feel free to send a patch for that. Or maybe I did that already, but the Broadcom controller only reports 0 dBm anyway. Check the btmon traces for that.

The sync train will be started anyway, the L2CAP part is optional and depends on the glasses.
