https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=141731 Bug ID: 141731 Summary: Bluetoothctl commands via pipe broken Product: Drivers Version: 2.5 Kernel Version: 4.6.4 Hardware: All OS: Linux Tree: Mainline Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P1 Component: Bluetooth Assignee: linux-bluetooth@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Reporter: daviljoe193@xxxxxxx Regression: No When sending commands to bluetoothctl via stdin from a pipe, it will print out 'Controller ??:??:??:??:??:?? not available' when trying to select a device, 'No default controller available' when trying to power the selected device, and 'Device ??:??:??:??:??:?? not available' when trying to connect or disconnect a device. This is most likely a bug because when bluetoothctl is invoked normally, it can see all existing controllers and devices, and works just fine. I'm sure this started with bluetoothctl 5.41. I've tried simply downgrading bluetoothctl to 5.40, and this fixes the problem completely. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-bluetooth" in the body of a message to majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
