            Bug ID: 104011
Summary: SMP Security check breaks formerly working bluetooth
                    mouse connection
           Product: Drivers
           Version: 2.5
    Kernel Version: 4.1.6
          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux
              Tree: Mainline
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P1
         Component: Bluetooth
          Assignee: linux-bluetooth@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
          Reporter: ngoonee.talk@xxxxxxxxx
        Regression: No

My bluetooth mouse (Lenovo N700) was working fine up till and including 4.1.5.

In 4.1.6 an additional check (I suspect [1]) was added. This error message
"Bluetooth: SMP security requested but not available" now appears whenever I
connect my bluetooth mouse, and repeats every 3 minutes or so. Connection
itself is successful as reported by bluedevil.

I'm on Arch Linux 64-bit.

I have not bisected due to the machine in question being needed for other
duties at the moment.
