On the same machine, the same Linux, I can use an Envy24 card with
-r48000 -p256 = 10.7 ms without getting xruns, when doing audio
productions.

For testing purpose I installed Windows, the card doesn't cause issues
there. The xruns and that only 2 of 8 ADAT channels are
available, happens only on Linux.

Mobo ASUS M2A-VM HDMI, RAM 4 GiB, CPU BE-2350 AMD Athlon X2 dual-core
2.1 GHz.
