Just saw this http://www.rme-audio.de/en_products_madiface_xt.php

They claim it's the first USB3 AI.
Interesting if it's going to be supported under Linux sometime.

Yes, my meaning was that most FW chipsets seem to be of the same generation as the ICE1712, that is obsolete.
