I have to disagree also, SG is not at all like a classical guitar, no more and no less than a Strat, Les Paul or Ibanez fingerboard. Why do you think SG fingerboard is like a classical fingerboard? The mechanics are probably not too different from a Les Paul's, it may depend on the year of year issue, too. -- Brett W.
