Usually internal plugins are enough. I mean, most plugins on Linux are very basic anyway (not all, but most).

rather have the Jack support. You could always host plugins in
jackrack or similar. Oddly enough, it doesn't support ReWire, they
suggest using Jack, even on Windows :-)
