usb sound card, 4 input minimum

Hi all

I beg your pardon: I know that  this is a recurring question, but I want to be sure to spend my money in a sensible way.

I'm looking for an USB sound card, budget around €400. I record mostly solo guitar, sometimes 2 guitars and voice. But even when I record solo guitar I want to use as many mic inputs as possible. So I think that 4 input is the minimum I need.

I've read this page:
http://wiki.linuxaudio.org/wiki/hardware_support

I know that some people in this list use Komplete Audio 6 and they are happy with it.
But I wonder if there are better alternatives. I was interested in Scarlett 6i6 and Presonus 44vsl, but I read on this list (and on the internet) that they are not fully supported on linux.

Any alternative to consider?
Thanks in advance
Federico
