I am a big fan of using multiple drives or partitions for testing; I'll often clone a partition with dd, change its UUID with tune2fs, and add it to GRUB and see what I can break there! In this case though, I don't think it's necessary if Dave installed from one of the newer media with systemd enabled (after Oct 13, 2012). Even if it's older, there's not much that can go wrong that can't be easily fixed from the emergency console. The system will at least boot that far and then things like mdadm can be enabled. The migration page at http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Systemd is really thorough and clear. -- ====================================================================== Joe Hartley - UNIX/network Consultant - jh@xxxxxxxxxxxx Without deviation from the norm, "progress" is not possible. - FZappa _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.linuxaudio.org/listinfo/linux-audio-user
