The friend has got Sequential gear, but I heard that the new equipment
from Dave Smith does use CEM chips too.

Regarding to bad MIDI for Sequential I recommend to contact
http://www.winecountrysequential.com/ at least years ago they sold MIDI
for the Prophet 5 etc. and a friend bought a lot of survival kids. Thy
should be able to help.

I have to call him, since I don't know if it's really this company, but
I'm sure the name is Winecountry and I don't think there are two
companies with the same name in the USA, just for Sequential synth.
