OK Julien - I didn't expect it would've supported JACK it being old and there being no mention of JACK in its feature list.

After replying to you I realised that my previous two postings to this list have both involved elves which is especially funny as I've been told on a few occasions I'm an English Will Ferrell lookalike! :)

 I do know about TekTracker and tried it once. I think it does load mods, but its interface, though textual, was still not very suited to my needs and its audio and MIDI interfaces don't match anything I use nowadays. It didn't even suite those interface back in 2004-2005, when I tried it last.
 Other than that, I only found module players, that work well.
