I'm looking around for a way to get surround sound into a PC and be able to route it with JACK. So there are two parts: - What physical connection is needed on the PC (i.e. I have a blue ray player or cable box spewing surround sound...maybe hdmi?) Any body have experiences with particular interface cards? - What software goes between the hardware above and JACK? Ideas? Comments? Recommendations?
