Regarding to Debian you're right :). It isn't true for Debian
derivatives.

Yesno.

1. To cry on among like-minded people shoulders helps to calm down and
helps to reflect and then, if still needed to file a less pathetic bug
report or wish to the right address.

2. Electioneering is part of grassroots democracy. A community like the
"pro-"audio community has more weight than some single bug reports or
wishes.

3. At least it should be mentioned to use the vesa driver, since
offending the GPL is less good and de facto nouveau is a PITA until now.

Btw. DBUS became comfortable for many "pro-"audio users, but IMO it
didn't start painful, but PA and nouveau do so.
