Please post the log of jackd startup. Your description does not allow to
pinpoint the problem. "cash out" can mean anything, too.
A shot in the dark, quite a while ago:
sudo sysctl kernel.sched_rt_runtime_us=-1
was required to get jackd with realtime privileges going with a default
debian kernel. I don't know if it is still the case.

Hmm, I use default Debian kernels and have never had to do that. Or are
you talking about Debian kernels patched to become RT kernels?
