Please post the log of jackd startup. Your description does not allow to pinpoint the problem. "cash out" can mean anything, too. A shot in the dark, quite a while ago: sudo sysctl kernel.sched_rt_runtime_us=-1 was required to get jackd with realtime privileges going with a default debian kernel.
