Hi Gabriel,

and thanks for reply !

It gives :

 0:0 System Timer
 0:1 System Announce
14:0 Midi Through Midi Through Port-0
16:0 M Audio Audiophile 24/96 M Audio Audiophile 24/96 MIDI
f@f:~$

Does it make sense for you ?

It means that your problem is with ALSA and not QJackCtrl. I suggest that you file a bug in Debian (against ALSA). Looks like something got un-tweaked in your upgrade.

I found an old but similar thread here:

  http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-652858.html

That also points to an ALSA/driver issue.

Is this a new device? This is puzzling... because M-Audios are all USB Class Compliant MIDI these days.

Yep ! Have read the same old thread yesterday, but find nothing to help in it. Maybe read too quick !!

Thanks for analyze, maybe I'll try to reinstall ALSA after the midisport driver, and go to debian's bug after if not working.

The device have 2 years old, maybe a little more, but was ok in Lenny.

Thanks again,
Fred
