I had actually heard this first in a translation in Italian (similar to [1]).

The overall blend of lyrics, the way they are spoken and the musical setting (looping harmony, blended timbres, final 'plucked-strings' phrase) remind me quite a bit of Mike Oldfield music.
Nicely done I must say.
IMHO you could experiment with leaving longer pauses between phrases. with some further 'foreground movements' in the music.

I don't understand very well spoken english,
so I don't know what you say. :-)
The words are from a poem by Max Ehrmann [2]... I guess it is pretty well known in English-speaking contexts but not as much elsewhere (especially in it's original form)?

Lorenzo.

Anyway, I wanted to know what tools (hw/sw) you used
for the musical background. And the effects (compressor
on the voice?) and so on.

If you feel in the mood to give some details, that
would be a nice reading for me! If you have no time
or if you don't like giving details, no problem.

Regards,
CÃdric.
