This is complicated.  The various options are
discussed at:

Ignoring the LFE-channel is not recommended
as it may contain stuff not present elsewhere.
Adding it to W is good, but it will then end up
in the main speakers and these may explode.
(The solution to this is to incorporate a limiter.)
You could also carry it forward as a separate
channel and feed it only to the subwoofer at
the end.
