When in pattern mode, Seq24 loops patterns in sync with JACK, but doesn't relocate JACK. This makes it possible to let ardour run linearly while Seq24 loops. I am wondering if something like that would be possible in ardour (or any other audio sequencer for that matter). Ardour loops just fine when synced internally, so I guess it's the JACK transport relocation that makes it slow. |
