Well.... I...... tried...... it...... and..... it's..... unusably...... slow.....

But it does look very nice, and quite probably what I need. Just not usable on a netbook, which is what I carry around with me these days.

I'll have to see if nted or notedit might be coerced into doing what I want then, or just carry around paper and pencil, the old-fashioned way.
