Indeed, especially as QJackCtl's connections window now has 3 tabs. This has the potential to confuse newbies: in the FC3 version pictured, `MIDI' means ALSA MIDI, but in later versions, `MIDI' means JACK MIDI; and ALSA MIDI is labelled `ALSA'. Also, the pictured FC3 `Audio' tab has system inputs and output labelled as `alsa_pcm', whereas later versions simply call these `system'. FC3 is a real blast of distrostalgia, with its bluecurve theme and Luxi Sans font! The first mentions of JACK and QJackCtl are links to the websites; for consistency, it would be nice to see ZynAddSubFx and Seq24 linked to their respective sites as well: http://zynaddsubfx.sourceforge.net/ http://seq24.sourceforge.net/ > > Still, it's nice to see someone writing documentation. +1 _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.linuxaudio.org/mailman/listinfo/linux-audio-user
