stopping pulseaudio getting disabled when jack is launched

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Ubuntu has configured things so that when I start jack through qjackctl,
pulseaudio suspends. This isn't very useful to me because I have Jack
using a USB audio interface that pulse doesn't use, and because there
are times when I need to run non-jack audio apps while jack is running
(such as to view the pd for dummies tutorial I have just been watching
on youtube). How can I stop jack causing pulse to be disabled?

Many thanks
Robert
