Another Maudio 44 here (ice 1712 module) and it runs well. I use it entirely inside the box to write orchestral music, and it performs without a glitch.

I'll second that. I have a M-audio Delta 44 ( 4 in 4 out, no midi or
digital ) and its been perfect.
