I've been considering a setup with an SSD drive and a scythe ninja II passive heat sink. If the ninja can cool the processor without recourse to a fan then the only noise would come from the PSU fan. I've looked around and found quite a few PSUs with "silent" in the name yet they seem to refer to values of silent that veer considerably away from.. well.. silent.
