That's what I'm using.  The keyboard is the only MIDI interface I have.
   It has a single MIDI out port - which is working fine when tested with
amidiplay.  There is no hard MIDI in port - the keyboard can either
output to the onboard out port (to another MIDI device) or through the
USB interface, which is what I am doing.

ALSA is not getting inbound data from the device although it can send
OK.  The keyboard works as it should under Windows, so I can only guess
that there is something wrong with ALSA - either a mis-configuration or
a bug - but I don't even know where to start looking.
