Re: clicking noise in all audio programswith new linux user

Does the clicking happen with an audio program that doesn't take input?
i.e. zynaddsubfx.  
Also, make sure you kill any artsd process.  Does the clicking happen
when using alsa by itself.  i.e. using xmms to play audio, without jack
running?
