The normal signal to connect to your monitors should be this module and not the master output. * This monitoring module should have e.g. the jkmeter, a post-meter calibrated volume control, switches for L, R, and mono, a correlation meter, etc. * It should offer several switchable inputs. The normal input would be the master output, a second could be the output of a limiter or mastering app following the master, for broadcasting it could be the signal returned from the continuity studio, etc. * When a (not in-place) SOLO is active it should auto-switch to this, same if you use the options to audiotion a region, etc. * This is also to place to put things like intercom, talkback, etc, with auto-muting of the monitoring of course. I'm using such as thing as a separate app that is also aware of ambisonic formats etc. It makes a big difference in usability.
