I guess, the task is not that simple ;-) To have all the single channels of the equipment recorded simultaneously and in sync you'll need a reall HD-recorder. Ardour is just great for the task but if you want something more simple try Traverso: http://traverso-daw.org/ fetch the latest SVN - its worth the hassle. Traverso can do the recording and offers a lot of editing too. If you want to have something, that works perfectly in the jack-context (external FX like Jamin etc) you can easily import the individual tracks from Traverso to Ardour. > But test your setup before the gig. Hear the man: I did not do enough testing before my last gig and so there are no recordings for the brand new UbuntuStudio failed me 10 minutes before we started playing because of a stupid misconfiguration... good (better) luck ;-) HZN -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFIX36c1Aecwva1SWMRAu7bAJ9nLXyd4qEYqZ2Q0qTV8R3PJNpC2QCfUkFH dbhWaetO/MftqFG36Ro5zyQ= =y/c9 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.linuxaudio.org/mailman/listinfo/linux-audio-user
