Seconded.

Judge for yourself: http://www.thelisteningsessions.com/session3.htm

Track 20 uses the DI input with a bass.  You can compare it against
much more expensive DI options.  Unfortunately, there are no examples
of the Audio Buddy with a mic on that site.
