Ah, okay. Now I seem to understand. It looks as if pkg-config is returning some bullsh**... Or I am using it wrongly. Could you edit the SConstruct-file in JackMix's rootdir to say "pkg-config --libs-only-l ..." in line 38? Maybe that works...
