Well, I didn't say about 96KHz at all :-) What about difference between
16/44 and 24/44? As for me, I'm not sure, I'll detect difference at blind
testing. Probably, my ears aren't golden ;-)

At any case, IMHO the main problem is DACs realization rather format
limitation.
