Hi Joker, thank you for the praise :) On Sat, 2006-11-25 at 20:57 +0100, joke@xxxxxxxxx wrote: > in Alsa mode, when you are manipulate the machines you have cut in the > sound, like interruption... my kernel is a basic one but is it related > to the kernel? It is related to portaudio v19, which does not make any effort to boost the ALSA threads scheduling. As a result, the thread gets equal cpu time as any other thread. Of course, this is unbearable. Aldrin works best with the Jack Audio Connection Kit. > > I would like to know what do you mean by 1:1 compatible to jeskola > Buzz... any buzz machines won't work with Aldrin? what do you mean by > compatible? The wording has been changed just five minutes ago. There are no more efforts on my side to get buzz binaries working. It is simply not worth it to keep a corpse alive longer than neccessary. I am steadily porting the most important and available machines to zzub/Aldrin. On Windows, Aldrin loads buzzmachines through a wrapper, and is far more "compatible", being able to load and play almost all bmx files correctly.
