OK, I installed Subversion and got the latest libiec61883 code, but I
still can't run autoconf (or autoreconf, as Pieter suggested). The
output I get looks like this:

[root@localhost libiec61883]# autoreconf -f -i -s
Can't locate File/stat.pm in @INC (@INC
contains: /usr/share/autoconf /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.6 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.4 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.3 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.6 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.5 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.4 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.3 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl .) at /usr/share/autoconf/Autom4te/FileUtils.pm line 36.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted
at /usr/share/autoconf/Autom4te/FileUtils.pm line 36.
Compilation failed in require at /usr/bin/autoreconf line 45.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/bin/autoreconf line 45.

So I locate stat.pm:
[root@localhost libiec61883]# locate stat.pm
/usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.8/File/stat.pm
/usr/src/perl-5.8.8/lib/File/stat.pm
/usr/lib/perl5/5.8.6/File/stat.pm

Sure enough, none of those paths are in the @INC array.

Can anyone tell me how to add paths to the @INC environment variable?

Thanks,
Steve
