Thanks Nigel, you save my day !! I think that this module is loaded at the boot. Follow the explanation of Nigel about the /etc/modules to load the snd-seq-midi module. Then it's easier if you have the GUI to jack. You can configure rosegarden4 to launch jack with it, for me it doesn't work. But you had to start qjackctl (the GUI in question). And i have a question : Do you have a multimedia kernel ?
