So, I just use procmail rules like this: :0 fwh: audiolock2 * ^Sender:.*linux-audio-user | sed -e '/^Subject:.*\[linux-audio-user\]/s/ \?\[linux-audio-user\] //' :0 A $MAILDIR/audio-user And I never even see this stuff in the subject line of any of the mailing lists I subscribe to. The first rule just matches LAU messages, and cuts out the tag. The second rule matchs anything the preceeding rule did and saves it in my 'audio-user' folder.
