I'll poke at it some more, but the fastest way to get it coming out the speakers from a note on is to load it into Specimen. Mellotrons didn't have any sort of amplitude envelope, crossfading or even zero crossing ability for loops so it'd still be authentic sounding. > format. I'm very interested in this sound.
