I understand the licensing differences between Ogg and MP3. What about the newer aacPlus? The new KCMP is using aacPlus because they claim they can webcast near CD-quality with a pretty small stream: http://minnesota.publicradio.org/radio/services/thecurrent/ (It is great! I am trying to get them to add Ogg and MP3 to reach more people.
