The simple ~/.fluxbox/menu and keys and groups config files provide extremely easy and quick access to right-click root menus, keyboard shortcuts, and groups of files opening in single multi-tabbed windows. This current message, along with my earlier comments and Rui's responses (in regards the wm interacting with the applications windowing behavior) certainly suggest you try other "desktops" or whatever else you have on your system - KDE, Gnome, FVWM, XFce, Windowmaker, whatever. Fedora Core has them all and they're probably on your computer. Frank
