This only is valid for 2.4 kernels. For 2.6 kernels you might still need to
patch your kernel to let it accept USB-standard-violating devices like
the Quattro and many other M-Audio USB products. But maybe that patch
is included now? Don't know.

(Great to read that M-Audio Germany fixed their webpage now so that it
correctly promises support only for Kernel versions <= 2.4)
