Maybe blue (http://www.csounds.com/stevenyi/blue) is what you're looking 
for then. It's a great application in java that let's users put sniplets 
of code into familiar (comming from something like cubase) boxes like 
"instruments" or "patterns" which live in "tracks", and then build your 
composition from these graphical boxes. You're still going to write the 
same csound code, but blue is a great environment that makes alot of 
things easier.
