Hi,

The aim is: to capture some source using JACK. So, latency
is not significant here.

The question is: which case to prefer for jack server settings -
 
  2048 frames/period and 4 periods/buffer,
                  or
  4096 frames/period and 2 periods/buffer?

Or - are these cases equivalent (buffer size has the same size)?
