I use only one manual but I have used two for setBfree with this setup so it is very easy to do.
I can have multiple mido-filters i carla and connect any amount of keyboards to one carla instance so dual keyboards + footpedals + pedal board are no problem.

Just curious, you are only using one manual or pedal at a time? e.g. not
splitting keyboard for using lower and upper manual simultaneously?
