I had a similar problem with SUSE 9.2 and the 2.6.8 Kernel. Idon't know if it is a 2.6.8 problem or a problem of ALSA 1.07 or a combination of both. Now I work with SUSE 9.1 and a customized 2.6.5 Kernel and the HDSP Mixer work fine. I hope we will find a solution soon. Ciao Martin
