Not that kxstudio, which I believe is a primary way for getting all the Non series audio software is currently not being maintained and infact it did not work for me on Lubuntu 19.04. as per the maintainer, the work is expected to restart sometime in 2019.

That is less right. There is only one working and expanding Session
Manager **protocol** : NSM.

Non Session Manager is one software using/managing it, and there is
RaySession too:
