I'm not sure if RT intended for industrial control is suitable for audio. PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) are designed to give the most accurate (deterministic) timing, to the extent that (say) repeating 1S pulses must always be 1S apart. If they are 10mS late, that is slightly less important provided they are *always* 10mS late. I don't know what current loop times are, but that used to be considered fast. -- Will J Godfrey http://www.musically.me.uk Say you have a poem and I have a tune. Exchange them and we can both have a poem, a tune, and a song. _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://lists.linuxaudio.org/listinfo/linux-audio-user
