That's a very important point.

A lot of people might guess that there is a consortium of distros
official supporting snaps, see https://snapcraft.io/ , but this
impression is wong, since snapd is just available by official Arch
repositories, but in no way Arch is supporting snaps. Mark's
understanding is correct:

Much likely there are similar issues for several, if not all the
mentioned distros.
